You were part of the first Trance Inside birthday party last year. Did you like it and what do you remember now an year later reflecting back?

Yes, I liked it very much! It was a rather small and untraditional place for parties like this one, but the organization was perfect. The crowd was energetic and mad! It is a pleasure to be part of Trance Inside’s birthday party again.

What changed with you in the last year? What’s new?

I’ve started working harder on my producing skills. It gets more difficult, but it’s interesting and exciting. I released my first remix for Sugar DJ’s track ‘Shocked’ in the beginning of December.

What do you think about the development of the trance scene considering all the events happening around the world – Armin winning DJ Mag again, Above & Beyond starting a new show, etc? You changed the name of your radio show as well, tell us more about it?

Evolution. I think it’s normal music to evolve and so DJs are evolving as well and experiment more with music. Armin’s winning was no surprise to me, because he totally deserves it. He is the only one in this business who makes parties in all parts of the world. No wonder that he has the best DJs working with him. I’ve been thinking for a long time to put the end of New Frequency of Trance. My new show Freakuency marks not only a change in the name, but in the music style. It gives me the freedom I find in the music I’m interested at the moment. I don’t want to put limitations on the styles I play. That way I would put limitations on my own feelings. If I can’t find a way to express my feelings and emotions I’d never develop myself as an artist.

Any new styles that you might be interested in now?

Yes. I’m interested more in the electro-experimental-progressive style, known also as mainstream and EDM.

What about the top producers and the top tracks for you this year?

I have several favourite producers at the moment – W&W, Myon & Shane54, Nicky Romero, Tom Fall, Arty and many of the new talents.

What do you expect of this year’s Trance Inside birthday party and what can we expect from your set?

I expect it to be an amazing party again. As I’ve already said I’m really happy to be part of the party. I’ll be playing as usual energetic club music with a lot of experimental stuff.

Anything else that you want to share or say?

Smile more! : ) [/tab] [tab]Infie

You were part of the first Trance Inside birthday party last year. Did you like it and what do you remember now an year later reflecting back?

It was a great party! I really enjoyed it! What I remember? Well, I experienced some technical problems with the sound system although it was a wonderful night. All the sets were awesome, a lot of people came, most of my friends were there. I had a great time!

What changed with you in the last year? What’s new?

A lot of things changed with me this year but they aren’t connected with my music. It wasn’t such a good year for my musical development but it wasn’t that bad anyway. Actually this was the year with the largest number of live performances for me. On the other hand my show disappeared but I’ll tell you a secret. This may soon change.

What do you think about the development of the trance scene considering all the events happening around the world – Armin winning DJ Mag again, Above & Beyond starting a new show, etc?

Well, I’ve never liked the idea of making global statements about the trance scene as I’m some kind of an expert. That’s not even that important to me. I can say I’m not a good critic of such things and I don’t like making charts or something. I just enjoy the music. And I admit I don’t follow these events and I haven’t regularly listened to any shows this year. I only followed the releases. But as I said I don’t want to make any global statements even about that.

Any new styles that you might be interested in now?

That’s another thing that I’m not good at – defining myself in a particular style. What I pay attention to is the music itself, the beauty of sounds. People make these borders and differences and continuously make up new names for them. I’m not good at defining music in style. I’m only good at gathering beautiful sounds together. So I’m not that interested in how it’s called but how it sounds and whether I go crazy while listening to it.

What about the top producers and the top tracks for you this year?

As I said I don’t like making charts. But I can definitely point out Orjan Nilsen. He made some really awesome tracks this year. There are also lovely tracks by Tenishia, Solarstone, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Ferry Corsten, Heatbeat etc.

What do you expect of this year’s Trance Inside birthday party and what can we expect from your set?

I expect it to be a good party considering the success of the previous celebration party. I don’t suggest making expectations for our set cause we like surprising our listeners.

Anything else that you want to share or say?

Smile and be inspired! We’ll be waiting for you on the 5th of January at Snooker & Billiard Center. ((: [/tab] [tab]Soulplay

You were part of the first Trance Inside birthday party last year. Did you like it and what do you remember now an year later reflecting back?

That party was longed for by many fans of the music and it turned out really well. It was the beginning of a wave of parties in the next few months. Definitely, there could be not better was to start the year…

What changed with you in the last year? What’s new?

Work place, family status, few more white hairs, few less kilograms… The rest is the same.

What do you think about the development of the trance scene considering all the events happening around the world – Armin winning DJ Mag again, Above & Beyond starting a new show, etc?

It was expected that Armin would be number 1 again. Considering Armada and all the productions coming from there… the names that work there… It’s important to understand that the success of being DJ number 1 is due entirely of the team around him. As for Above & Beyond… Sad, but fact. It is well known that the trance has been changing for awhile… and the style of Trance Around The World was a bit away from the trance for awhile. The name change is just cosmetic so the concept and the ideas behind it are clear from now on as they are not going to be that closely related to the trance music any more. May be that’s for the better… We’ll see.

Any new styles that you might be interested in now?

I made few attempts to include some dub step in my sets, but it seems that right now that’s too big of a step forward. In general, I don’t think that much changed for one year.

What about the top producers and the top tracks for you this year?

Very complicated question… Orjan Nielsen is always strong… Filthy Fandango, Endymion.. Let’s leave the rest for the parties to come.

What do you expect of this year’s Trance Inside birthday party and what can we expect from your set?

Expect the unexpected… [/tab] [tab]Wolvy

You were part of the first Trance Inside birthday party last year. Did you like it and what do you remember now an year later reflecting back?

It was unforgettable experience. I remember we had a lot of problems but I also remember that everybody had a great time and I’m very happy that it all worked out at the end. I hope we’ll manage to do the same this year.

What changed with you in the last year? What’s new?

A lot of things. I had the opportunity to be part of a few very nice parties in Washington, DC. I also worked very hard to popularize the radio show which is now being broadcast in 9 countries on three different continents. Few months ago I started an iTunes podcast as well called Trance Inside Podcast which is much shorter than the show but it’s very popular and the feedback was very good.

Another major change was that I came back in Bulgaria three months ago for good and right now I’m working on several different projects of mine. One of them is, of course, related to music and another one involves the organization of many such parties. They are very interesting and I hope that I’ll be able to give more details soon.

What do you think about the development of the trance scene considering all the events happening around the world – Armin winning DJ Mag again, Above & Beyond starting a new show, etc?

The scene is changing very dynamically. The fact that Armin is on the top again is very good for the popularization of the music, but it’s also a fact that the concept behind the word ‘trance’ changed a lot and right now the style trance is very different than what it was. Personally, I think that this is not a bad thing. It’s very interesting to observe the evolution of certain producers as in most cases the results are very intriguing. On the other hand, there are still many producers who are not affected by the mainstream and they style produce the style that was popular few years ago. In general, there’s a little bit of something for everyone and we can only be happy because of this fact.

Any new styles that you might be interested in now?

I try to listen to various styles of music but if I have to name one – melodic dub step and Blackmill specifically. I’m not a huge fan of the dub step but Blackmill’s music is just ingenious.

What about the top producers and the top tracks for you this year?

I think that was Suncatcher’s year. The most emotional and original tracks came from him and he also had several amazing remixes. I’d also mention Aly & Fila as well as Simon O’Shine, who also had a very strong year. As for the best tracks, I think we have to mention Concrete Angel by Gareth Emery. The rest on the top of my personal chart is not so popular: Ex-driver – See The Light, Kamil Esten – Hola (Suncatcher remix) and ASKII – Beyond Vision.

What do you expect of this year’s Trance Inside birthday party and what can we expect from your set?

I expect another great party and I hope that everybody is going to have a great time. From my set you can expect something similar to the radio show mixed up with some of the more popular tracks from the past. As you probably already saw from the flyer, there are going to be several live guitar performances in my set by Nikolay Dimitrov – an excellent musician and a good friend of mine. I’m not going to reveal the details and I’ll leave them as a surprise but I think that it’s going to be a very interesting event.

Anything else that you want to share or say?

I’d like to thank Snooker and Billiard Center for being our venue host and granting us all the special promotions that you’re going to see. I’d also like to thank all the people who supported the show in the last two years, the feedback is really amazing and I’m very happy that so many people love the music so much. I hope that I’ll be able to see most of you at the party and as a very good friend of mine likes to say – keep on trancin’.[/tab] [tab]NicToms

You were part of the first Trance Inside birthday party last year. Did you like it and what do you remember now an year later reflecting back?

It was a great party. I’m really looking forward to the next edition.

What changed with you in the last year? What’s new?

After a lot of hard work I finally managed to fully complete my studio. I also managed to release several EPs in some of the labels that I wanted to work with for a long time.

What do you think about the development of the trance scene considering all the events happening around the world – Armin winning DJ Mag again, Above & Beyond starting a new show, etc?

The development of the trance music never stops. Recently, it was very affected by house and dubstep but I think that everything is moving in the right direction.

Any new styles that you might be interested in now?

As I mentioned, house and dubstep are really affecting trance so in the last few months I’ve been experimenting in those styles. I also started a house project with one of the prospering DJs in Bulgaria Konstantin Moev – Quadrafuzz.

What about the top producers and the top tracks for you this year?

I was pleasantly surprised by Andrew Rayel, W&W and Alexander Popov.

What do you expect of this year’s Trance Inside birthday party and what can we expect from your set?
